This site is published to document the efforts of the South Carolina Back the Brookie Committee, dedicated to restoring the pure genetic strain of the Southern Appalachian Brook Trout to its native habitat. Committee members include Dr. Dave Van Lear, Tom McInnis, Vance Baird, John Garton, and Mark Szymanski.
